Hi, we were asked by a bride & groom to add a little sparkle to Haigh Hall, Wigan. Kirsty & Martin were getting married at the venue and having the wedding breakfast followed by the wedding evening entertainment. We kicked off the day by fitting 66 chair covers with a pink bow for the wedding ceremony, along with table swagging for the registrars table and our lovely white twinkle backdrop at the back of the room all set up and ready for the wedding to take place. In addition we placed two bay trees either side of the registrars table to finish it off!
After the wedding took place we helped turn the room around with the venue staff, who are all very friendly and nice to work with. We provided a pink table runner on each table to match the wedding chair covers and bow, along with our flagship ostrich feather table centrepiece, with pink crystal gels inside the lily vase, and placed on a glass mirror plate with crystal sprinkles. We provided our white silk top table swags with matching swags for the cake table.The ostrich feathers we provided are the smaller feathers but due to we use approx 75 feathers in each vase, they look a lot fuller and hang better than the larger ones we also stock.
After the wedding breakfast was finished, we then came back for 6:30pm when the room was being turned around for the wedding dj entertainment and at this stage we installed Pink Up Lighting around the room, along with our white twinkle l.e.d. dance floor in the middle of the room. The white dance-floor is a wedding centrepiece on its own, but brings life to the room when accompanied with our white twinkle backdrop and the table decoration and chair covers.
I spoke to Kirsty a few times during the day, and the bride was made up with the way the room looked, it was her dream come true, and could not thank AA Decor Events for what we had done on the day and made it extra special.
A great venue to get married in, nice staff, and a good day and evening had by all!
